Album credits dot com

If you are credited on a record, claim your profile! The listing gets better as we all claim our profiles and get them cleaned up. Mine has a ton of omissions and mistakes, but none of us can fix it until 2000 people claim their profiles.

  1. Hm, their data comes entirely from Allmusic, which is pretty much a black box. I've never gotten those guys to correct anything.

Thats the point. Allmusic does not do very well with sorting things out, so if everyone claims their profile at AlbumCredits, we will be able to actually make corrections OURSELVES, as opposed to the way it is now, which is simply a public beta.
    From the website:
    AlbumCredits.com (VERSION 1.0)
AlbumCredits.com 1.0 (set to release once we reach 2000 claimed profiles) will offer an Enhanced Profile option that registered users can subscribe to for a small monthly fee. Enhanced Profile subscribers will be able to:

Add themselves to projects they worked on but did not receive credit for.
    Correct mistakes in their credits.
Add releases not included in the AMG database.
    Consolidate multiple profiles.
Create a direct link to their profile with a custom URL.
Suppress duplicates that can clutter their discography, such as “clean” or “international” releases.
Highlight select titles, current projects and breakthrough projects.
